La Perla Launch Sustainable Beauty
Luxury Italian brand La Perla is the latest house to venture into premium beauty, with the launch of a conscious, cruelty-free and sustainably formulated range.
Their ethos is based on respect for our bodies, society and planet. Stefanie Fitzgerald, Senior Vice President for La Perla, shared that “sustainability has been central to La Perla Beauty from the very beginning.”
The collection which includes lipsticks and balms, mascaras, eye liners, brow gel, eau de parfums and a skin care range, bring to the table veganism, clean beauty and recyclable and refillable packaging.
Packaging
The carefully considered packaging of these premium products strikes the right balance between luxury and sustainability.
This minimalistic, two-toned tube is made from 100% recyclable FSC paper, and we quite like the small visible imperfections which come from recycling.
Lipsticks
The feminine rose gold and red exterior houses a beautifully elaborate etched bullet with lace detail - a nod to La Perla’s well established lingerie collections.
Eight shades of vegan red, cater for fans of both blue and yellow undertones; and all lipsticks are refillable.

Lip Balms
For those who prefer just a hint of colour, these bullet balms produce a smooth satin finish and are also refillable.

Mascara
This clean mascara is easy to apply and smudge proof and designed with a thin curved brush to give a natural look for even the shortest lashes
Naturally derived ingredients such as soft beeswax and moisturising organic shea butter ensure lashes are nourished and protect from irritation.
Eau De Parfum
The Eau de Parfums come in partly recycled glass bottles and are designed for a second life thanks to their elegant shape, crowned with round tactile stoppers.
With names like Possibilities and Once Upon A Garden, they inspire our imagination whilst zesty floral top notes, delicate heart of jasmine, nectarine and seductive vetiver transport us to a different world.
We need never throw away these elegant bottles, as refills are available to discourage single use packaging. The refills are practically designed with a nozzle allowing for easy top-ups.
